Bektav — Refund and Cancellation Policy
Bektav and tScribe are two names of the same Service, provided by the same company from the same systems: an account made under either name is one account, kept in one database and managed by the same administrators; this document applies to both.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy applies to purchases of Bektav paid plans and add-on packs made online at bektav.com and app.bektav.com. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who sells and refunds
Our online orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle sells the subscription or pack to you, charges your payment method, issues the invoice or receipt and handles refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to the purchase. Your statement shows the charge as made by Paddle.
2. 14-day refund
2.1. You may ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge — the first payment for a plan, a renewal, or an add-on pack — for any reason.
2.2. After 14 days, charges are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or as our Terms provide (for example section 2.2, a material reduction of a paid plan's core functionality).
2.3. When a plan's charge is refunded, the subscription is cancelled and the organization returns to the free plan. When an hours pack is refunded, its hours are removed from the organization's balance. Content is not deleted by a refund — see section 4.
3. Cancelling a subscription
3.1. An organization's administrator can cancel a subscription at any time in Bektav (Plan and billing → Payment method and invoices), which opens Paddle's customer portal.
3.2. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed. Cancelling does not by itself refund that period; ask for a refund under section 2 if you are within 14 days of the charge.
4. Your content
Cancelling or a refund changes only the plan. The organization's projects stay, within the free plan's limits; nothing is deleted until its administrator closes the account (Terms, section 11.4). Export or back up what matters to you before closing it.
5. How to ask for a refund
Write to [email protected] from the address of your account, with the organization's name and the date of the charge, or contact Paddle directly through paddle.net using the details on your receipt. Refunds go back to the payment method used, usually within 5–10 business days after Paddle approves them.
